Bondi Pavilion Theatre

Waverley Council and the Sydney Improvised Music Association are proud to present a feature event of the 2019 Sydney International Women’s Jazz Festival, international Brazilian star Anna Setton in concert on Sunday 3 November in the Bondi Pavilion Theatre. Performing the popular music of Brazil, the accomplished vocalist and guitarist’s music draws on classic Brazilian styles such as samba, bossa-nova, choro as well as jazz.

The Sao Paulo based singer-songwriter has performed in iconic theatres and jazz festivals such as Parco Della Música (Rome), Theatre Grec (Barcelona), San Javier (San Javier, Spain) and Brazilian Summer Fest – Central Park (New York), and will be featured in a trio format for this performance with Edu Sangirardi (piano) and JP Barbosa (saxophone/flute).
